Who are the eQuillet camps aimed at?

The eQuillet Equestrian Club camps are aimed at children and young people aged 8 to 17 who want to enjoy a unique experience surrounded by horses and nature.

No prior riding experience is necessary. Our camps are designed both for children who want to discover the world of horses for the first time and for riders who already ride and wish to continue learning and improving.

To ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience, we organize activities and lessons by skill level, ranging from beginner to advanced and competitive levels. This way, each participant can learn at their own pace, gain confidence, and develop as a rider.

During the camp, participants will not only learn to ride but also discover what life with horses is really like: grooming and caring for them, understanding them, and building a special bond with them.

📍 A MAGICAL SETTING: IN THE HEART OF L’EQUILLET

Leave the city behind and connect with nature in its purest form. Our camps take place at the eQuillet Equestrian Club, located in the stunning Vall d’en Bas (Girona). Here, the air is fresh, the landscape is a sea of ​​green, and the peaceful atmosphere allows us to enjoy the horses in complete safety.

🏡 JUST LIKE HOME (BUT WITH HORSES!) 

• Sleep at the stables: Accommodation is provided in a renovated, adapted building on the estate itself, right next to the main farmhouse.

• A big animal family: You won’t be alone! You’ll be surrounded by horses, ponies, and our farm friends: chickens, ducks, geese, a cow, a donkey, and our affectionate dogs and cats.

• Real homemade food: We cook with love using locally sourced ingredients. Plus, we cater to any dietary needs (celiac disease, allergies, or intolerances) so everyone enjoys a fantastic meal.

⏰ YOUR STARTING AND ENDING POINT

• Arrival: We’ll be waiting for you with open arms on Sunday afternoon to kick off the adventure.

• Farewell: You’ll head home mid-morning on Saturday with a backpack full of memories and new friends.

At eQuillet, every day is a new opportunity to disconnect and fully immerse yourself in the world of horses. We have designed a program where learning and fun go hand in hand.

🔝 A Passion for Horse Riding

The star activity! You’ll enjoy 3 hours of daily lessons with Level II instructors. Are you up for the challenge?

• Top disciplines: Dressage, show jumping, the thrill of horseball, the freedom of cross-country, and the magic of vaulting.

• Be a real rider: You’ll learn all about handling and care—from grooming and hygiene to creating the best braids and performing basic care. Your horse will look impeccable!

🌲 Adventure beyond the arena

Because a summer camp wouldn’t be the same without…

• Daily pool party: We have a pool right at the equestrian center where we’ll play water games to cool off and have non-stop fun.

• The legendary “Friday Trail”: The grand finale! We head out for an all-day horseback excursion through the Vall d’en Bas and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. A wild experience!

✨ MAGIC NIGHTS AND EVENINGS

When the sun goes down, eQuillet transforms thanks to our activity leaders:

• Nighttime scavenger hunts with flashlights in the forest.

• Karaoke and Mini-disco to show off your talent.

• Open-air cinema under the stars of La Garrotxa.

• For beginners: We have incredibly calm and patient horses, experts at building confidence in those just starting out.

• For experienced riders: Horses experienced in various disciplines for advanced students looking to refine their technique.

MORE THAN JUST RIDING: A REAL FRIENDSHIP

During the camp, you’ll learn that horseback riding is about more than just sitting in the saddle. You’ll learn how to care for and groom them, and how to understand their language. You’ll form such a strong bond that saying goodbye on the last day will be hard!

🔄 Want to double the experience?

If you want to stay with us for two or more weeks, the adventure doesn’t stop! For consecutive stays of two or more weeks, the experience is continuous (for example, if you come from July 17th to 30th, arrival is on the 17th and departure on the 30th). In this case, you simply need to add the extra weekend surcharge (€100).
